XN Global offers "XN Global Solutions", an international private medical insurance plan for individuals and families. It's structured as a clean five-tier ladder, so you scale the cover and the premium together — and it leads with strong benefit limits and full-refund core cover at a competitive price point.

Plans & cover levels

Five tiers, each lifting the annual maximum and benefit limits:

TierAnnual maximumPosition
BaseUS$/€3,000,000Entry-level, leanest premium
ElevationUS$/€3,500,000Adds outpatient & chronic cover
AscentUS$/€4,000,000Higher limits across the board
SummitHigher stillBroad, high-limit cover
ApexTop tierThe most comprehensive

Plans are available in USD or EUR, with identical numeric limits in either currency. Exact limits and area of cover are confirmed at quote.

What's covered

Core hospital cover is strong even at the entry tier — many headline benefits are paid at full refund across all five plans:

Chronic condition cover — mind the entry tier

This is the key trade-off to know: Base does not cover routine management of chronic conditions. From Elevation up, routine chronic management is covered at full refund (subject to the plan's outpatient aggregate limit), increasing with each tier. So if you manage an ongoing condition, the entry tier may be a false economy — step up to at least Elevation.

Underwriting & who carries the risk

It's worth understanding the structure: XN Global is a Managing General Agent (MGA) — part of the Henner Group — which distributes and administers the plan. The insurance risk itself is underwritten by Underwriters at Lloyd's (Lloyd's of London syndicates). In other words, XN Global is the administrator; the cover sits behind the Lloyd's market.

Your medical history is assessed at application, and exact terms are confirmed before you buy. If you're new to how this works, our underwriting guide explains the options in plain English.

Who XN Global suits

A strong fit if you want high benefit limits and full-refund core cover at a competitive price, and you like a simple tier ladder you can scale. The Base tier is a keen entry point if you mainly want big-event protection.

Worth comparing if you manage a chronic condition (start at Elevation, not Base) or want a longer-established insurer brand. Comparing the market shows XN beside the rest on price and cover.
