VUMI Global
A source-based comparison of VUMI's current core and specialty VIP international medical plans.
VUMI publishes a broad international medical range. The core plans provide different overall coverage levels; specialty plans target defined needs such as specified chronic conditions or senior applicants. Limits shown below are not interchangeable: some are annual and others lifetime.

Geography, benefits and deductibles
VUMI's plan pages publish inpatient and outpatient benefit tables, plus medical evacuation and other benefits where applicable. Geographic treatment conditions differ by plan, especially inside the USA, where named VUMI network rules and out-of-network reductions or room limits can apply. The pages also show plan-specific annual deductibles; for example, Optimum VIP offers US$500 to US$20,000 and Direct VIP offers US$500/US$1,000 to US$50,000 depending on treatment location.
Claims and pre-authorisation
VUMI provides separate official online routes for notifications/pre-authorisations and claims. Requirements depend on the procedure and policy. The authorised sources do not publish an observed average approval time, so no turnaround claim is made here.
Eligibility, underwriting and evidence boundaries
Published eligibility varies by product: for example, Senior VIP gives an application age range of 60–90, while several other reviewed plan pages state a maximum application age of 75 and waiting periods. Because these details are plan-specific, they must not be carried across the range. Current policy Conditions of Coverage govern underwriting, exclusions, waiting periods, networks, pre-authorisation and availability. No overall network total or independent named-hospital partnership list is asserted.
